I applied for coverage by the December deadline. However, I never received an email or any paper mail about how to pay my first payment. The plan I chose won’t let me pay online either, and I can’t get a hold of my insurer to ask them about payments.

As I applied for ObamaCare I found out that, because of my low income, I do not qualify for cost assistance and the quote said I might qualify for Medicaid. However, my state says I don’t qualify for Medicaid either.  What are my options?

Unions are exempt from some of the Affordable Care Act’s rules. The idea that they are exempt from the pre-existing conditions clause doesn’t sound right. The ACA means that you can’t be discriminated against in regards to what you pay or what a plan will cover based on past medical history.
