I applied for coverage by the December deadline. However, I never received an email or any paper mail about how to pay my first payment. The plan I chose won’t let me pay online either, and I can’t get a hold of my insurer to ask them about payments.


If you enrolled in a plan and were never charged or contacted for your first months payment you'll want to do two things. 1) Call your insurer. 2) Review your Marketplace account. You aren't considered covered until you have made your first payment, so there is no alternative to getting on the phone with the Marketplace or your insurer if you can't resolve the issue through the website.
