We were supposed to receive the 1095A form in early Feb. Its 2/14/15 and still no form. The ACA web help says they will call back— no call back. Then it would take several days: Then told it would be 30 days. Its not on my account online. Please help!!!!!! Very, very, very frustrating when you can’t even file my taxes. So where is my 1095A information?
Most 1095A forms were filed by the Marketplace by Jan 31st, 2015. However in some cases forms won't be available until the end of February.
After the Marketplace has filed your 1095A form you'll be able to view it online and it will be sent in the mail. It's true that those who got cost assistance will have to hold off on filing their Premium Tax Credit Form 8962 until they have their 1095A.
As soon as open enrollment ends Feb 15th, it should be much easier to get through to the Marketplace to sort this issue out.
Often it's not a sign that something is wrong with your form, it's simply the fact that the forms are apparently taking a little longer to file then was hopped. The hard-deadline for filing is the end of Feb. The hard-deadline for taxes is April 15th. So you still have time to wait for your 1095a form.
UPDATE 2/21/15: An estimated 800,000 people received the wrong 1095a form. If you got a 1095a form with incorrect data, or need to do any calculations for related tax forms, you can use the Second Lowest Cost Silver Plan tax tool to calculate subsidy amounts correctly. That being said, those who got incorrect forms are being asked to wait to file until the correct form is filed. If you already filed your form, don't worry too much. Subsidy amounts didn't change much between 2014 and 2015, so in most cases the calculations shouldn't be off by much.
If you are running out of time to file, see our page on how to file without a 1095-A.
