Moving Will I Be Covered Under Current Health Insurance?


I am moving from California to Hawaii in August 2015. I currently have insurance through Covered California with Health Net. When I move to Hawaii, will I still be covered with Covered California/Health Net?

If not, how do I get health insurance (on my own) in Hawaii?

Is it mandatory to change plans if you move out of state? I prefer to retain current multi-state coverage from the prior state for balance of the year (4 months) since my out-of-pocket max has been reached? All my costs will be covered in the new state under the current policy.
