ObamaCare Birth Control Mandate Still Applies Despite Roe v. Wade Decision


The Affordable Care Act (AKA ObamaCare) still requires complete contraceptive coverage despite the recent decision on Roe V. Wade.

This means that even though the US Supreme Court decision leaves abortion rights up to each state, federal law still requires insurers to offer coverage. This could create instances where women have coverage for a service they don’t have access to in-state, but it is nonetheless the current rule.
