Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield Kicks Off Two Autistic Children – Story

I missed one month payment due to incorrectly inputting my credit card. the insurance company dropped me and my children. I never received a letter from them. I continue to receive wellness and claims emails. I wrote a letter begging them to keep me on because I have 2 autistic children who rely on medications. I paid top dollar for this insurance and they did not care. They wanted us off. I had several conversations, asked for a review. Wanted to pre-pay rest of year and they did not care. They wanted us off the plan, which they will end at end of year anyway. I had the money, they did not want it.
