I enrolled by the deadline, and then changed my plan from a bronze to a silver plan by the Feb. 14th deadline. I went through all of the steps to make this specific change twice, but could see no result of it. Now I am still enrolled in the wrong plan which is useless to me. Why did it not work. I need to see a doctor immediately and was relying on next months coverage which I will not receive.

Answer

If you tried to change your health plan, but the change didn't go through, here is what you do.

1. Double check the change-over date. If you changed plans before the 15th, it should roll over on the 1st of the next month after you pay your premium.

2. Call the Marketplace. If the change didn't go through properly, they will be able to assist you.

Generally, an error made enrolling in coverage is fixable by calling HealthCare.Gov. This is especially true if the error was made on a HealthCare.Gov or a state health insurance website.
