Medicare Open Enrollment Ends in a Few Days!

Medicare Open Enrollment Ends Friday, December 7th, 2017

Have you enrolled in Medicare for next year? You only have a few more days to do it. By Saturday morning, it will be too late. Medicare Open Enrollment Ends Friday, December 7th, 2017.

Anyone’s situation can change from year to year. One year you might be relatively healthy, need only a few medications, if any, and hardly see doctors. Medicare Advantage plans might suit you very well and save you money if chosen well. Other years you may have more complex medical needs and save more money by choosing original Medicare.

You will want to look at your potential out-of-pocket maximum with a Medicare Advantage Plan and compare it with the amount you would pay for premiums and deductibles under Original Medicare. If you need to see many doctors, you might have lower out-of-pocket costs by paying higher premiums. If you seldom need to pay healthcare provider’s co-pays, you might be better off with lower premiums and higher copays.

Please visit Medicare.gov or phone them at 1-800-633-4227 or, for TTY users, 1-877-486-2048.
