Biden Plans to Reopen ObamaCare Marketplaces

President Biden plans to reopen ObamaCare’s marketplaces for 6 months in response to the pandemic. They could open as early as Thursday, Jan 28, 2021.

The plan is to use executive action to open the marketplaces.

Biden also plans to reverse Trump-era changes to Medicaid having to do with allowing states to impose work requirements.

We will keep you updated as these changes become official.

UPDATE: There will be a special enrollment period from February 15, 2021 – May 15, 2021. This will apply to anyone using HealthCare.Gov and may apply to other states. Learn more about the planned executive actions.
