This Policy Change Saved my Life – Story

Before the ACA I was unable to get health insurance because I had a diagnosis and thus a pre-existing condition. I also lost a lot of work because of the banking crisis and ageism. I am so grateful that, because of the health exchange, I was able to obtain health insurance affordably and get access to the new drug which may have saved my life.

I take good care of myself so now I have the energy to grow my own business and perhaps find a way to thrive in this new very stressful economy.
