Is a person allowed to change plans on the exchange during the benefit year?

Answer

You cannot change your health plan outside of open enrollment unless you qualify for special enrollment. Typically once you enroll in a plan you'll need to keep it until the next policy period.

THIS IS BUL*&*#T! I’m currently paying for insurance through my work and I’m not covered for the procedure to have done. My employer was to cheap to add this procedure on the policy. This is something I just can not change myself, unless I get individuals insurance. Now what am I supposed to do?
