Very Thankful for the Affordable Care Act – Story

I agree that Healthcare must be a priority for our decision makers we have elected to deal with this issue in Washington. On that note, I have some observations that I have not seen addressed. In my experience healthcare costs were rising before Obamacare took effect. For the last 5 years of my employment, my share of healthcare insurance costs equaled or exceeded any raise received. I am a retired teacher in Florida who also divorced soon after retirement. I could not afford the insurance offered to me by the school board and am very thankful for the Affordable Care Act. I am also a baby boomer and if Trump has his way with healthcare I fear I will be without health insurance. I will have a gap before Medicare kicks in. Hopefully we will still have Medicare.
