Enroll Now, Or Face Exclusions for Preexisting Conditions
If you don’t have health insurance, there is a 50% chance you are about to make a big mistake by not enrolling in a health plan via healthcare.gov by Tuesday, January 31st, 2017.
1 in 2 Americans has a condition that qualified as a preexisting condition before the Affordable Care Act.
Tomorrow is the last day all citizens are guaranteed coverage under the Affordable Care Act (ObamaCare).
That means if don’t get covered by Tuesday, and you get sick before Congress passes a replacement plan, you could find yourself without coverage options.
Don’t be fooled by the rhetoric, if you read our site you’ll know that the GOP replacement plans presented so far don’t offer the same protections ObamaCare does.
Betting on our advice is a good bet, betting you’ll never get sick again and the GOP will swoop in and save you is… well, it isn’t a bet I suggest taking.
Enroll at healthcare.gov now; it is way more practical than planning never to get sick.
-ObamaCareFacts, your independent site for healthcare advice (yes, we’ll be covering TumpCare too, but for now, this is about you. Get Covered!)
TIP: Young people, the more of you who sign up, the better. If you don’t enroll, it will skew the numbers and make it look like insurers are losing money. Then, you’ll be used as a scapegoat for dismantling the law. Not cool, right? Indeed, not cool at all. Spread the word. On the plus side, many young people can get covered for next to nothing after cost assistance (as cost assistance is based on income).
NOTE: Perhaps the GOP will swoop on in and save everyone! Perhaps they will ban preexisting conditions like ObamaCare. That would be awesome. All we are saying is, for now, don’t count on it. That isn’t what past Republican plans do.
