My daughter is 27 yrs old, unemployed, and going to school for her GED. She lives at my house and I am supporting her fully. She has no money to pay for health insurance and I can not afford to pay for it. Are there any resources available to assist her with coverage until she can finish school and vocational training and start employment?

Answer

Your daughter should enroll in your state's exchange or the federal marketplace. There she will be able to shop for different qualifying health plans and qualify for cost assistance.
