If someone with no insurance has no income and doesn’t need to file, but their spouse is working and has to file does the person with no income still have to pay a penalty?
I was court ordered to pay my child’s insurance.I am on my new wife’s plan through her employer. My new wife can’t afford the huge increase to add the step child. I am not working due to health issues, why do we have to consider my wife’s income if she can’t afford to cover my son?
