Trump’s HHS Lifts ObamaCare Transgender and Womens’ Protections


The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a new rule that removes anti-discrimination protections for transgender people and women seeking abortions put in place by ObamaCare.[1]

This fits a general pattern of the Trump administration undoing rules put in place under the Obama administration, especially those that relate to specific protections under the Affordable Care Act.
