Trump Administration Suggests Waiting on the ACA Lawsuit


The Trump administration has suggested waiting on sending the court case that will determine the fate of the ACA to the Supreme Court until after the election.

After the latest ruling declared the mandate illegal but made no ruling on the fate of the ACA as a whole, the court case was poised to potentially move up to the higher courts.

A battle in the Supreme Court could mean a lot of uncertainty in the healthcare markets in an election year, and thus it seems the Trump administration is suggesting the Republican-led lawsuit be put on the back burner until the election is over.
