Insurance Canceled With No Warning – Story

There was apparently an error with my health insurance payment last month (I had no idea, I thought I paid my bill) and Providence didn’t send me a non-payment notice, so they canceled my health insurance. It’s their policy to do so if a payment is only 25 days late. 😭😭😭
I’m going to appeal the decision, but I don’t have a good feeling about my chances. So looks like I’ll have no insurance until next year.
It’s outrageous that they’re allowed to do this.
